the further down in Cornwall you go the more "closed" it will be. Woolly or even Croyde would be a cool place to stay for a few days. Billy Buds or The Thatch do B&B & there are some decent places in Woolly to stay........

nickthesurfer > sarcen2dawn Depends on what you want.......Polzeath is a small but mellow place (good for surf), Rock is a bit posh. Newquay is good & bad. Bude/Widemouth Bay in North Cornwall is a lot of fun. St Ives is a tad over-rated. What are you looking for?
